Boobapalooza Viva Las Vegas! 2002 (June 21-23, 2002)

Well, this get together was the most difficult to plan, that is for sure. So many people were not sure if they could make it -- even though we gave them 6 months to plan for it, LOL! We made it to Vegas at about 1 PM, we drove all night from San Francisco.

We met up at some really lame jazz club at 6 pm to figure out what we were doing. Everyone grabbed drinks and had enough of the AWFUL singing so we headed over to some HUGE buffet. We all ate like pigs and headed off to take showers for the pre-party in my room...

Friday Night: Pre-party at Luxor
It all started off with a few peach martinis, more introductions for the late arrivals and what have you. We then passed out color coordinated (hot pink or purple) gift bags as well which included:

silver jewelry boxes
leopard print Sniffs®
jeweled or furry toe nail separators, nail brushes, leopard print nail files, bright pink or purple polish, orange sticks, and other manicure tools
assorted bath products, bubble bath, shampoo/conditioner samples
Skincare samples
flashing belly jewels, black light glowing body glitter and a whole lot more!

Dee came by for a few minutes before she went off to gamble with her friends. The hotel messed up our messages and we didn't get in touch with a lot of people until Saturday. We wound up taking a limo from the Luxor to The Palms. We bought some "VIP passes" to Rain so we could get in without the wait. Yeah right. We waited anyway. No loss though because at least we got in without having to pay a cover with the passes. Thank goodness because the passes were $20 a piece as was the cover. Go figure. But I'll never do THAT again. Considering there was a other guy scalping the same VIP tickets for 10 bucks cheaper in front of Rain. Ugh.

Friday Night: Party at Rain in the Palms Hotel
This club was awesome! It was like a rain forest inside, plus huge shoots of fire over the dance floor that you could feel the heat from every once in a while. One wall was a glass waterfall that was so pretty with "go-go dancers" on columns on each side. It was SO packed we didn't find a place to sit until 3 hours later. I danced for hours and can't tell you what happened most of the night. We later found out it was the most popular place in Vegas right now.

I do remember some guy coming up to me and lightly touched my face and Cianna grabbed him and told him a thing or two. When she stood up she was like 3 feet taller than him - it was hilarious. Cianna, my hero!! John (Cianna's hubby) made sure I had a drink all night, so I was quite um, the party-goer. hehe.

By the end of the night Leslie's feet were killing her, as was Cianna's - we danced like mad-women under the fire and steam. Todd wanted to go so he and Stace left *waaaaah* Bad Todd, no cookie!! We left at God knows what time and Cianna went into a store next to Rain, took her shoes off and put on a pair of thong sandals and walked out as she told John to pay for them. LOL! We somehow got separated from them because things get fuzzy about right now. We found Marlo and Mike in front of The Palms - woo hoo! Marlooooooooooooo! We wound up walking to The Rio and hailing a cab. Then going back to the hotel. Marc was tired so I went back out again (I think it was about 4 am) so I could go spend time with Marlo and Mike. I got in after daylight and passed out from exhaustion.
