Boobapalooza South Lake Tahoe 2001 (March 23-25, 2001)

Our 1st get together was sooooo much fun! Although I must say I was extremely exhausted - these girls are nuts! Marc and I left for South lake Tahoe at about 5 am and got there pretty early. We were to meet with a surgeon in in Tahoe at 9 am but since we were so early we decided to "crash" (old school for "sleep") in the Starbuck's parking lot for an hour!! We were so tired as we only slept for about an hour the night before.

Well, Marc and I went skiing that morning and got sunburned pretty bad - joy. Even with my wearing Ti-Silk Sunblock 45! We were so tired from not sleeping and on our last run I kinda took a wrong turn down a double black diamond (for those of you who don't ski, a double black diamond is the hardest run there is unless it's a "vertical"). This is the same double black diamond we went down last year where I lost a snowblade while looking for my cousin's snowblade. Loooooong story. To make it short we made it down although it took us 20-25 minutes to get down because about every 30 seconds my legs were so tired I had to stop and take a breather. I didn't fall once. Well not skiing anyway, hehehe.

We practically crawled to the car made it to the hotel and passed out for a few hours and met with everyone at Planet Hollywood for dinner. Marc and I were exhausted, sunburned and our eyes had windburn so we were really fighting to stay awake - Francesca was cracking us up and Maggie was just TOO FUNNY with her few drinks she had in her. You'd have to meet Maggie. She is soooooo funny! She basically was looking for a husband (jokingly) all weekend.

Obviously we were laughing our butts off. The topic of conversation was hilarious, but crass, so I won't repeat it.	Marlo, Leah Anne, Crazy Maggie, Kristina and Jason

We Then went out to Club Nero where there were at least 4 guys to one girl - joy. I have not sensed so much testosterone in my life. Between that and the smoke, you could practically cut it with a knife. We watched the girls dance, Francesca was a dancing psycho. We had so much fun but I just could not stay awake any more so Marc and I cut out at 1 am and watched Discovery channel and munched on Red Vines (Licorice) and Honey Mustard Pretzels!! WOO HOOO!!

We got up the next day and finally got in touch with Deb - she met with us and we all had the breakfast buffet! Deb ate 3 bowls of ice cream! You go girl!!

Maggie, Leah Anne and I left Maggie's apartment around 10am. My original departure time was 8am so that I could meet up with Marianne at Heavenly, but 3 girls take a long time to get organized so....Nevertheless, we headed north to Tahoe through Sacramento and had a great time listening to music and telling funny stories. We arrived in Tahoe around 2pm and the valet started to unload my car. Maggie had thrown in an extra bra at the last minute and so I threw it on the rolling cart at the last minute which gave all of the valets a big laugh. We knew that we were off to the start of a really out of control weekend!

I got ahold of Marianne, who was exhausted from skiing with Marc all day. We made the short walk to her room and looked at our new Yes They're Fake shirts...ooppss...wrong type of shirts! Instead of the baby dolls that we ordered, my dear friend, Andy, printed up black regular ol' t-shirts...and they were BIG! We decided to grin and bear it and figured, what the heck, we'll take photos in them, return them and then have him print the ones that we ordered.
